RAMBAN, Jan 19: Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest for the last 6 years.
As per police sources, based on specific inputs, a special team from police station Banihal conducted raid and arrested two absconders today from Talab Tillo Jammu, who were at large since long.
The accused have been identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Mohammad Qasim and Mohammad Hanief, son of Mohammad Sharief Gujjar, both residents of Talab Tillo.
Both the accused were involved in a case registered against them with police station Banihal under FIR Number 119/10 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act.
The arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against the accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Banihal police station Inspector Nazir Ahmed Dar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Mohammad Rafiq and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
