JAMMU, Apr 2: Government today said that over 2.73 lakh cases have been pending in High Court and Subordinate Courts across the State.
In reply to the question of National Conference MLA, Abdul Gani Malik, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah said that a total of 82306 cases including 78129 civil and 4177 criminal cases were pending in the High Court as on December 31, 2013 while as 74112 civil and 117032 criminal cases were pending in the Subordinate Courts.
