1st TT Championship for women held at KCSC

JAMMU, May 12: Table Tennis Singles Championship in the women’s category was held at the ultra modern Table Tennis Hall of KC Sports Club, here today.
Twelve players participated in the tournament with immense zeal and competitive spirit.
After the preliminary fixtures in the knockout phase, Kriti drubbed Nisha in the first semifinal by 10-4, 10-7., while in the second semifinal, Kavita Gupta defeated Divya by 10-8, 10-7 against their opponents.
The final match between Kriti and Kavita Gupta turned out to be a cliff-hanger and finally Kavita won the match by 10-6, 10-7.
