JAMMU, Feb 27: 18th J&K State Judo Championship, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association, concluded at Multi Purpose Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
S Rangail Singh, president J&K Olympic Association was the chief guest on occasion, while Dr Ashutosh Sharma, Chairman Affiliation Committee of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) was guest of honour.
The Championship was organized by J&K Judo Association under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, RC Thakur, Varinder Dogra, Rajan Sharma, Satish Gupta, Abdul hamid Khan, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Dev Raj, Suraj Sharma and Manish Chatwal.
About 500 Judokas from different schools from Kathua, Jammu, Baramulla, Anantnag and Srinagar districts participated in the Championship.
Bouts are officiated by Suraj Bhan Singh, Arshi Nath, Vikas Dogra, Ritika Slathia, Shakti Gupta, Jugal Kishore, Rameshwar Singh and Rajesh and Vishal.
The gold medalists in different age groups and various weight categories included Om Baloria, Ishan Saini, Pratham Singh, Munish Sharma, Arnav Gupta, Irfan Khan, Tanish Hangloo, Harshit Varun Sharma, Pratik Bali, Zeeshan, Katan, Ratish, Suryansh Mahajan, Amit Singh, Shubham Sharma, Manish, Shushank, Pranav, Abrar, Shriya, Jiya, Chhani, Anisha, Vanshika, Isha, Khushi, Aliza Fayaz, Vishali, Amrita Roshan, Juhi, Suhasi Kiran, Poonam, Yashika, Paheli, Vir Bhadra, Sahil, Vivek, Danish, Azmal, Rajkumar, Naebl, Arohan and Vivek.
