JAMMU, Oct 8: A permanent Lok Adalat of bank cases was held under the chairmanship of Sanjay Gupta, Principal, District and Sessions Judge at District Court Complex, here.
A bench was constituted, which was headed by Ashok Kumar Shavan, Additional District Judge, Bank Cases.
A total of 47 cases were taken up, out of which 17 cases were settled. Out of cases settled, one old matter of 1998 was also settled.
Rs 3,39,17,035 was recovered from the defaulters.
