POONCH, Nov 12: Surankote police rescued 16 bovine animals and arrested one person.
As per police sources, a team from Surankote Police Station laid a naka at Jogi More and intercepted three vehicles.
During checking, police rescued 16 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested one person, who has been identified as Javed Iqbal, son of Mohammad Sadiq of Mendhar.
Cases under FIR Numbers 282/17, 283/17 and 284/17 under Sections 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act have been registered at Police Station Surankote and investigation started.
