Over 1500 pilgrims pay obeisance at Chandi Mata Dham

KISHTWAR, Aug 26: More than 1500 pilgrims paid obeisance at the revered shrine of Chandi Mata since commencement of the yatra from July 25 this year.
As per official reports, 2,22,736 pilgrims including 95,480 males, 82,117 females, 45,000 children and 139 sadhus have performed darshan at Chandi Mata Dham since commencement of the yatra from July 25. 1,592 pilgrims have paid obeisance at the sacred shrine of Machail Mata today.
Tight security arrangements have been made by the administration.
The locals of Kishtwar have arranged langars, drinking water and other essential items en-route for devotees.
