15 injured in two road mishaps

JAMMU, July 14: Fifteen persons were injured today in two separate road mishaps in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, eight persons travelling in a tempo were injured when a rashly driven Baleno car hit the tempo at Jagti on National Highway. The injured persons were identified as Hitesh (5) son of Anmol Saini, Anju Malik (37) wife of Deepak Malik, Lovleen (27) wife of Anmol Saini, Jatin Malik (19) son of Deepak Malik, Tanvi (37) wife of Sanjeet Kumar, Sanjay Malik (40) son of Kishori Lal, Seema (40) wife of Harish and Sahil (15) son of Harish, all residents of Hoshyiarpur.
Seven persons were also injured when a speeding car collided with a cow and thereafter rolled down the road on National Highway at Jagti. In the mishap, seven persons travelling in the car got injured. They were identified as Baljeet Singh (35) son of Chuni Lal, Lalita Devi (28) wife of Baljeet Singh, Saloni (18) daughter of Lehar Singh, Kiran Bala (16) daughter of Lehar Singh, Sunita Devi (60) wife of Chuni Lal and Sumit (7) son of Baljeet Singh, all residents of Doda.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while Nagrota police had taken cognizance of both the incidents.
