13 in fray for JCCI polls

JAMMU, Feb 2: A total 13 candidates have filed their nominations for the six executive body posts  of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).
Today was the last date of filing nominations.  The Chamber sources said that for the post of JCCI president, sitting secretary general Arun Gupta and sitting president Rakesh Gupta are contesting. For the post of senior vice president, three members in the fray are-Surinder Mahajan , Rajiv Gupta   and Rajesh Gupta.
Two members contesting for the post of junior vice president are-  Rahul Mahajan and  Rajiv Gupta . For the post of secretary general, Munish Gupta and Deepak Aggarwal  are contesting.
Gaurav Mahajan and Rajesh Gupta have filed  their nominations for the post of Secretary while for the post of Treasurer,  two candidates Ashu Gupta and  Rakesh Jandial are contesting.
The scrutiny of the papers will be held on  February 4 while  candidates can withdraw their candidature  by February 15. The polling will be held on March 5 after holding AGM by the Jammu Chamber.
