12th Class students hold protest

KATHUA, Mar 4: The students of 12th Class held a protest demonstration against the J&K State Board for putting paper of Physics out of Syllabus the examination of which was held on March 1.
The students of 12th class held a protest demonstration against the J&K State Board School Education and blocked the college road. The traffic was suspended on the road for half an hour and students raised anti Board slogans.
SHO Kathie Sorbet Singh reached on the spot and asked the students to withdraw the protest as the matter has been reported to higher authorities. The students also marched to J&K State Board Office Kathie and highlighted the issue. They said the Physics paper was out syllabus .The youth Rajesh Kumar, Amman Singh said that the Kashmiri students were given the relaxation of 50% syllabus but the Jammu students are harassed as the Board has dual policy which is not acceptable. They demanded the relaxation of marks or cancellation of paper.
The State Board authority Kathua took up the issue with Secretary of Board Jammu for  early redressal. The students dispersed after the assurance for Board authorities.
