JAMMU, Aug 9: As many as 1134 pilgrims today paid obeisance at Lord Shiva’s holy cave shrine of Shri Amarnath Ji in South Kashmir Himalayas of Anantnag district.
With this, total number of pilgrims, who have performed darshan at the natural cave, has reached 2,76,259.
Today was 43rd day of the pilgrimage.
Meanwhile, a fresh batch of 346 pilgrims left the Bhagwati Nagar base camp here today for the holy cave shrine.
The yatra commenced from the twin routes of Baltal in Ganderbal and Pahalgam in Anantnag district on June 28 and is scheduled to conclude on August 26 coinciding with the Raksha Bandhan festival.
