11 injured in separate road mishaps

JAMMU, Sept 16:  Eleven persons were injured in separate road mishaps in outskirts of winter capital of the State.
One Jaggat Ram (72) son of Sarda Ram and his son, Ram Lal (30), both residents of Pounichak were injured today when an auto hit the bike on which they were travelling, at Sira in Pounichak area. The injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
At Bawe-da-Talab area of city outskirts, a car collided with a scooty, resulting into injuries to a couple travelling on the scooty. The injured couple has been identified as Satpal Sharma (50) son of Ram Rakha and his wife, Santosh Sharma, both residents of Paloura. The injured were taken to GMCH for treatment.
In Chowki Choura area of Akhnoor, a mini-bus bearing registration number JK02BK-9327 returning from Shiv Khori turned turtle last night at Sowara Morh, resulting into minor injuries to seven passengers including conductor of the mini-bus.
The injured persons identified as Ajay Kumar son of Sita Ram, resident of Dayaran, Ram Singh son of Dharam Singh, Mukesh Yadav son of Ramu Yadav, Urmal Shadat wife of Ram Nath, Jambo Lal son of Fandlu Yadav, Pitamber Yadav son of Deep Ram and Faritan Bai wife of Ram Charan, all residents of Chhatishgarh, at present residing near Kamala Palace, Talab Tillo (Jammu) were shifted to nearby Government Hospital from where they were referred to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
