SRINAGAR: As many as 10 residential houses were damaged due to heavy snowfall in the Kashmir Valley, a police spokesperson said here this evening.
He said two residential houses were damaged after a tree was uprooted due to heavy snowfall in the apple township of Sopore in North Kashmir district of Baramulla.
Four residential houses were damaged due to heavy snowfall at Watto in North Kashmir district of Kulgam. “A Government Middle School Hakradan and a residential house got damaged due to heavy snowfall at Qazigund in south Kashmir district of Anantnag,” he said, adding that a residential house got damaged due to heavy snowfall in North Kashmir district of Kupwara.
Meanwhile, Government Middle School Sapplan and an old building of Primary School Dalwash were damaged due to heavy snowfall in Central Kashmir district of Budgam. (AGENCIES)
