MENDHAR, Feb 7: The Forest sleuths along with police today organised an operation and removed old encroachment on forest land in Chhajla area of Mendhar.
The team led by Range Officer Mendhar, Azmat Hussain under the supervision of DFO Poonch organised an operation and removed encroachment on 10 kanals of land in compartment No. 183. One structure was also dismantled. This land had been grabbed by three persons namely, Mohd Sharief, Basharat Hussain and Mohd Javed, residents of Chhajla. They have been booked by the department.
