SAMBA, Mar 10: Bari Brahmana police arrested 10 gamblers along with Rs 6500 stake money and playing cards.
As per police spokesman, a team from Bari Brahmana Police Station conducted raid in Teli Basti and arrested 10 gamblers along with Rs 6500 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Jaimangal Mahto, son of Bhola Mahto, Snail Ram, son of Badhri Ram, Harinder Singh, son of Mukeshwar, Mahesh, son of Vindeshwar Parshad, Bhikhari Ram, son of Birinchi Ram, Rambo, son of Shivnath, Ajay Kumar, son of Shiv Chanda, Shambu Kumar, son of Brij Krishan, Parmodh Kumar, son of Lalji and Anil Kumar, son of Shiv Bhagat, all residents of Teli Basti Bari Brahmana.
All the gamblers have been booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act by Bari Brahmana Police Station.
Police team led by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Ashok Sharma and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
