NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the original manufacturers authorized Dealers/Stockists and local SSI Units who are interested to Register their firm with Medical College and Associated Hospitals Purchase Committee (Rate Contract Committee) SMGS Hospital, Jammu to offer their tenders for the Electric Appliances of supplies required in Medical College and its Associated Hospitals, Jammu for the year 2002-2003.

The applications should reach to the Member Secretary Medical College & Associated Hospitals Purchase Committee (RCC) SMGS Hospital, Jammu with a fee of Rs 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) non-refundable in respect of original manufacturer payable through Crossed Bank Draft in favour of MEMBER SECRETARY MEDICAL COLLEGE & ASSOCIATED HOSPITALS PURCHASE COMMITTEE (RCC) SMGS HOSPITAL JAMMU. The Firm will have to furnish proof of registration to all Purchase Committee (Rate Contract Committees) of Health & Medical Education Department Jammu & Kashmir while offering tender.

The firm already registered with Health & Medical Education Department either at Jammu or Kashmir and have paid a lump sum amount of Rs 10,000/- in respect of traders Rs 5000/- in respect of original manufacturers and Rs 2500/- in respect of local SSI Units, need not to apply for fresh registration.

The registration will be made in respect of :

1. Firms registered with Sales Tax Department having latest Sales Tax clearance certificate.

2. Firms having latest Income Tax clearance certificate.

3. Firms having ISO/ISI certificates where-ever applicable.

The State SSI Units holder while registering their units with the committee shall have to furnish :

1. Sales Statement duly authenticated by Sales Tax and Income Tax Department. In case of exemption they shall submit last three years balance sheet so as to establish their average annual turnover.

2. They shall also produce the permanent registration certificate along with a latest list of product being manufactured and a certificate to the effect that the unit is in active production as on the date of registration duly issued by the Industries Department be attached.

The Firm representing one or two firms duly authorized shall be charged registration fee of Rs 2500/- per firm. The firm who represents more than two companies shall be charged Rs 10,000/- only as registration fee (non-refundable). The traders can tender on behalf of their principals.

The application for registration should reach to the Member Secretary Medical College & Associated Hospitals Purchase Committee (RCC) SMGS Hospital, Jammu on or before 15th of November, 2002 on any working days during working hours. Incomplete information will not be accepted for Registration.

The Chairman of Medical College & Associated Hospitals Purchase Committee (RCC) SMGS Hospital Jammu has discretion to fix Rate Contract for other Groups which have not been included in this Notification and are required by various Departments/Hospitals attached to Medical College Jammu.

For and on behalf of Governor of Jammu and Kashmir State, Executive Engineer Tubewell Irrigation Division Jammu invites sealed tenders affixed with Rs 2.00 revenue stamps from well establishment reputed firms dealing with such jobs having good experience for the works mentioned below. The tenders accompanied with 2% Earnest Money to be calculated on the tenders value of the Tenderer. In the shape of CDR (Pledged in the name of Executive Engineer Tubewell Irrigation Division Jammu) must reach to the office of the Under-signed on or before 02/11/2002 upto 2 P.M. through Registered Post/Registered Courior only. The tenders shall be opened on the same day or on any other day convenient to the Under-signed in presence of the Tenderers who may like to be present at that time. Complete details with regard to its specifications and other information can be had from the office of the Undersigned on any working day but upto 01/11/2002. The opening authority reserves to him self the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. The job shall have to be completed with in 30 days time to be reckoned from the date of job order. Payment shall be made only after satisfactory completion of the Job as well as it verified by the Assistant Ex-Engineer, concerned.

Notice inviting tender

On behalf of Governor of Jammu and Kashmir sealed tenders affixed with Rs. 2/- (Rs. Two) only revenue stamps in three covers (Ist cover containing Earnest Money, 2nd cover containing terms & conditions and 3rd cover containing Price Bid) are invited from the approved Carriage Contractors/Registered Transporters for carriage of Bitumen/Asphalt packed in drums from Refrineries located at Panipat (Haryana) and Mathura (UP) to Central Stores of Stores Procurement Department, Jammu during the period 2002-03 as to reach by Registered/Speed post/Courier Service only, the office of the Director, Stores Procurement Department, Bikram Chowk, M A M College Road, PO Gandhi Nagar, Jammu-180004 on or before 11th November, 2002 upto 12 Noon.

The tender must be accompanied with Earnest Money amounting to Rs. 1,00,000 /- (Rupees one lakh) only in the shape of CDR/FDR/TDR only from Nationalised Bank, Scheduled Bank, guaranteed by Reserve Bank of India duly pledged in favour of Director, Stores Procurement Department, Jammu failing which the tender shall not be entertained. No exemption on any ground from deposition of earnest money shall be entertained. Any CDR/FDR/TDR/Bank Guarantee etc. lying against previous tender/contract shall not be considered for this tender.

The tender should be valid for acceptance for a minimum period of 90 days from the date of opening of price bid. The detailed tender documents can be had from the office of the Director, Stores Prodcrement Deptt; (J&K) Jammu on or before 5.11.2002 during office hours against payment of Rs. 200/- (Two hundred) only in shape of Indian postal order drawn in favour of Director, Stores Procurement Department, Jammu alongwith the following certificates:-

1. Income tax clearance certificate for the proceeding year.

2. Minimum carriage job valued at Rs. 25,00,000/- under taken during the preceeding financial year with State/Central Government.

3. Performance report from the Department where work undertaken.

The tender complete in all respects alongwith requisite Earnest Money should reach the office of the Director, Stores Procurement Deptt; Jammu by 11.11.2002 upto 12 Noon by Registered/Speed post/Courier Service only. The Ist cover containing Earnest Money and 2nd cover containing Terms & Conditions shall be opened at 12.30 PM either on the same day i.e 11.11.2002 or any other subsequent date in presence of such of the tenderers or their duly authorised representatives who may wish to be present at the time of opening of the tenders. In case holiday is declared on the opening day, the tenders will be opened on any subsequent day. The 3rd cover containing price Bid of such of the tenderers who would have qualified at the time of opening of Ist & 2nd cover and have met the eligibility criteria shall be opened subsequently. The date of opening of price Bid of the eligible tenderers shall be communicated/notified separately.
