Saxena wants Governor’s rule for shortest possible period

SRINAGAR, Oct 19: Governor Girish Chander Saxena today said that the leaders of the major political parties were anytime welcome at the Raj Bhawan to stake their claims for the Government formation. He clarified that, after the imposition of the Governor’s rule in a situation of emergency on October 17, there was no deadline for such an act. He said that no advisors to Governor were being appointed immediately as he would like the operation of the Governor’s rule for shortest possible period............more
