Unfulfilled
promise
Sir,
May I draw
the attention of our Chief Minister
towards the promise made by him. He said
in several public meetings that
unemployed Kashmiri youths will be
absorbed in Govt. as well as private
sector. Formats were prepared and dates
fixed for their registration. Kashmiri
migrants stood in long queues in front of
the Civil Secretariat under severe heat
waiting till late for their turn to get
registered. Our mothers and sisters did
not lag behind in the process with the
hope that their wards will be provided
employment as assured by the Chief
Minister of the State.
Now the
3rd phase of election has ended smoothly.
The fourth phase and onwards will also go
smoothly. After counting of votes a new
Government is to be formed. Whatsoever,
party comes in power, the promise made by
the Chief Minister will remain a dream
for Kashmiri unemployed youth for ever.
Yours etc...

Secularism
through religion
Sir,
With
reference to 'Secularism through
religion' DE October 1, the writer has
emphasised upon that true secularism can
come only through a proper understanding
of religion and their teachings.
With all
due respect, I am very sorry to say that
the writer does not know that really
secularism means. The word secularism has
been derived from the word 'secular'
means not concerned with or related to
religion. Secularism itself is a doctrine
that rejects religion. It is the attitude
that religion should have no place in
civil affairs. secularism is considering
everything, without taking religion into
account.
And I just
couldn't figure it out that when
secularism has nothing to do with
religion then how the writer wanted to
get secularism through religion.
Yours etc...
