POONCH/RAJOURI, Nov 6: Four top terrorists including a ‘deputy commander’ of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit, Billal Ahmed alias Akbar Khan, were gunned down by army in two separate encounters in the twin border districts today while a minor girl and NC MLC’s kin, who was injured in a blast in Rajouri town on November 4 evening, succumbed to her injuries in Jammu Medical College hospital this afternoon. An army soldier also lost his life in one of the encounters..................more

Jammu, Nov 6: As a major step to provide respite to the people on account of power shortage, the Cabinet decided to commission Gas Turbine Station at Pampore and drawing additional power from NREB/PSEB to augment power supply.
