TENDER NOTICE
FOR MACHINE JOB FOR POLICE
TRANSPORT WORKSHOP
JAMMU FOR THE YEAR 2002-2003.

Tender Notice
issued earlier vide this office NIT No. two of
2002 dated 2.4.2002 issued under endstt. No.
PTWS/2002/Actt/ARC-1599-1626 dated 2.4.2002 for
Machine Job for Police Transport Workshop Jammu
for the year 2002-2003 is hereby re-tendered for
Police Transport Workshop Jammu only.
(1) Registered
sealed tenders are invited from the reputed
Machine shop owners of Jammu for conducting
machine Job of different vehicle components and
fitment/repairs of Air Condition/repairs of A.C.
components to various types of vehicles as
mentioned in the enclosure of NIT for PTWS Jammu
for the year 2002-2003. The enclosure 'A' and 'B'
will form part of this NIT.
(2) The tender
offers alongwith specifications should reach this
office on or before 29.6.2002 upto 1130 hours.
Tender offers received after expiry of prescribed
date i.e. 29.6.2002 will not be considered.
(3) The tender
should be properly sealed and addressed to
Superintendent of Police, Police Transport
Workshop Channi Himmat Jammu.
(4) The tender may
be send by registered post well in time or
delivered in the office of the Supdt. of Police,
Police Transport Workshop Channi Himmat Jammu.
(5) The tender
willbe opened on 1.7.2002 at 1130 hours in
presence of intending tenderers or their
authorised representative who may like to attend
the tender proceedings. In case of unforseen
circumstances the last date of receipt and
opening of Tender will next working day.
(6) The Intending
Tenderers will have to send earnest money Rs.
2,000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) in shape of
CDR/FDR of any Nationalised Bank pleadged to the
Supdt. of Police, Police Transport Workshop
Channi Armed Police Complex Jammu with the Tender
offer failing which, the tender will not be
considered. The earnest money so deposited will
be returned to the unsuccessful tenderers after
the date of finalization of the Rate Contract.
(7) The rates
quoted for each item should be mentioned in
without cutting/overwritting and inclusive of all
Taxes etc. No telegraphic or conditional tender
offer shall be considered.
(8) The successful
tenderer shall have to carrry out the requisite
Job as and when work orders are placed by
Superintendent of Police, Police Transport
Workshop Jammu within two days.
(9) The successful
tenderer shall have to enter into an agreement
and contract shall remain valid upto 31.3.2003.
The copies of the
terms, conditions and specification can be had
free of cost on any working day from this office
and from SHOs of concerned Police Station.

NOTIFICATION
Applications are
invited from the original manufacturers,
Authorised dealers/stockist and local SSI unit
holders who are interested to Register their firm
with the Purchase committee, Rate contract
committee Health, Directorate of Health Services,
Jammu to offer their tenders for the following
groups of supplies required in the Health
Department in Jammu Division :-
1. Allopathic
Drugs & I V Fluids.
2. Dressing and suturing materials.
3. General Hospital Appliances.
4. Hospital/Steel Furnitures.
The applications
should reach to the Member Secretary, (DDHQ)
Purchase Committee, Rate contract Committee
Health, Directorate of Health services, Jammu
with a fee of Rs 5,000.00 (Rupees Five thousand
only) Non-Refundable in respect of original
Manufacturer payable through crossed Bank Draft
in favour of Member Secretary, Purchase
Committee, Rate contract committee Health,
Directorate of Health Services, Jammu. They will
furnish proof of Registeration to all Rate
contract committees of Health & Medical
Education Department Jammu & Kashmir while
offering tenders.
The firm already
registered with erstwhile Provincial Rate
Contract Committee/State Level Rate contract
committee and Divisional Rate Contract
Committees, Jammu/Kashmir and paid a lump sum
amount of Rs 10,000/- in respect of Traders, Rs
5,000/- in respect of Original manufacturers and
Rs 2,500/- in respect of local small scale
Industrial unit holders needs not to apply for
fresh registration. The registeration will be
made
The state SSI unit
holders while registering their units with the
committee shall have to furnish:-
(a) The permanent
registeration from the concerned General Manager
Industries Department, also that the unit is in
active production and latest renewed Drug
Manufacturing Licence from State controller,
Drugs and Food Organisation.
(b) They shall be
charged fee @50% i.e Rs 2,500.00 only as
registeration fee by the RateContract Committees.
Annual turnover of Rs 5.00 crores shall not be a
pre-requisite for them.
The Traders
representing one or two firms (Original manuf)
duly authorised shall be charged registration fee
@ Rs 2,500/- per firm. The Tenderers who
represents more than two principals shall be
charged Rs 10,000/- only as Registeration fee
Non-Refundable. The traders can Tender on behalf
of their principals provided that the firms they
are representing have WHO/GMP or ISO
certification and their Annual Turnover shall not
be less than Rs 5.00 crores.
The firms quoting
for the following groups shall be exempted from
furnishing ISO certificate or WHO/GMP
certificate.
But where ever
applicable ISI certification ISI mark be
obtained. The condition of Annual Turnover of Rs
5.00 crores shall not apply for common hospital
items like :-
1. Dressing and
suturing material.
2. General Hospital Appliances.
3. Hospital/Steel Furniture.
The Chairman of
Purchase Committee, Rate contract committee
Health, Directorate of Health Services, Jammu has
the discretion to fix Rate contract for other
groups which have not been included in this
notification which are required by various
organisation of the department.
