ELIGIBILITY

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission is as under:

a) For admission to M.Sc/M.B.Sc Programmes a candidate must have Bachelor's Degree in the related field with OGPA of 2.80 on 4 points scale or 55% of aggregate marks and must have GPA of 3.00 on 4 points scale or 60% marks in the subject concerned.

b) In case of M.Sc (Sericulture) Degree a candidate must possess B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc (Sericulture) or Science Graduate with Sericulture as a special paper.

c) The candidate possessing B.Sc (Horticulture) are eligible for Admission to Master Degree Programme in:

Promology/Floriculture/Olericulture/Entomology/Plant Pathology.

d) Only those candidates who graduated from Institutes/Universities recognized by VCI/ICAR/UGC are eligible to apply.

Note:-

(i) The candidate who will secure 55% and above marks in Entrance Test shall be considered for selection on the basis of their preference in application form.

(ii) Inservice candidate, if any eligible, shall route his application form through proper channel.

Young Scientist Fellowship - 2002

NOTIFICATION

Applications as per the format given below are invited from the permanent residents of J&K State for the award of 'YOUNG SCIENTIST FELLOWSHIP - 2002' for undergoing advanced/specialised research/training for a period of three to six months at National Research Laboratories/Premier Institute outside the State (to be indicated by the applicant) in frontline arena of Science & Technology.

Eligibility: (1) The applicant should possess at least a Degree in Engineering/Medicine OR a Master Degree OR equivalent in Science (2) The applicant should be below the age of 35 years as on Ist day of January, 2002 (3) The candidate should be holding regular position in a Govt./Semi-Govt/recognised institute OR a University of the State. (4) An institution outside the State should have expressed its willingness to accept the applicant for training/research for the period of the fellowship for which letter of acceptance may accompany the application OR be produced at the time of interview. (5) The candidate must be formally allowed by his/her employer to avail of the fellowship (No objection certificate to be attached with the application OR produced at the time of interview/selection) (6) On completion of training, a detailed work done report is to be furnished to this department by the fellow duly authenticated by the guide concerned.

Details of the Award: The fellowship carries a stipend of Rs. 2500/- per month with a contigency grant of Rs. 500/- per month and one time to and fro first class/2nd Class AC railway fare for the Parent Institution to the Host Institute. This is in addition to the normal salary the fellow is entitled to from his/her parent organisation.

But where ever applicable ISI certification ISI mark be obtained. The condition of Annual Turnover of Rs 5.00 crores shall not apply for common hospital items like :-

1. Dressing and suturing material.
2. General Hospital Appliances.
3. Hospital/Steel Furniture.

The Chairman of Purchase Committee, Rate contract committee Health, Directorate of Health Services, Jammu has the discretion to fix Rate contract for other groups which have not been included in this notification which are required by various organisation of the department.

Sealed tenders affixed with two rupees revenue stamps are invited from reputed Printers/Suppliers for the Printing and supply of the following material. The Tenders should reach the office of the undersigned within fortnight from the date of publication of this tender notice in the News paper:-

1. Application forms for admission.
2. Admission forms.
3. Prospectus,
4. Receipt Books,
5. Character Certificates.
6. Provisional Certificates.
7. Attendance Registers.
8. Answer Books.
9. Continuation Sheets.
10. Letter Pads (Big & Small size).
11. Identity Cards.
12. Sports Certificates.
13. Internal Assessment Registers.
14. Stock Registers.

Terms & condition, specification & specimen can be had from the office of the College during the office hours.

The rates shold be FOR College premises. The tenders shall have to attach a Call Deposit of Rs. 5000/- pledged to Principal, Govt. Degree College Boys Udhampur without which the tender shall not be accepted. The rates will be operative for April 2002 to March 31st 2003.

The successful tenderer shall have to supply the Printed material within 7 days from the date of supply order.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or a part thereof without assigning any reasons.
