Tender Notice

Sealed tenders affixed with Rs. 10/- revenue stamps in duplicate are invited for and on behalf of the Governor of Jammu & Kashmir State for "I.V.Fluids" (Group: "B") required for Health Institutions of Kashmir division for the year 2002-2003 from original reputed manufacturers having valid Drug License from Drug Controller for supply/sale of Drugs, Medicines and I.V.Fluids etc. (in case of supplies) for the manufacturing of Drugs, Medicines and I.V Fluids (in case of manufacture) and should be having "Good manufacturing Practice" certificate issued by the Drug controller of India/State in accordance with the world Health Organisation recommendations shortly called as (GMP WHO) or certificate of Director General Quality Assurance shortly called as (DGQA).

The tenders should reach to the office of the member secretary, Purchase Committee (Rate Contract Committee) for Health Services, Directorate of Health Services, Old Secretariat, Srinagar 190 001 by registered post or personal delivery on before 22.06.2002 upto 3.00 PM. The tender will be opened on 24.6.2002 at 11.00 AM or any other date which may be convenient to the committee. The tender should be accompanied with the Earnest Money in shape of CDR/FDR for Rs. 50,000/- pledged to the Accounts Officer, Directorate of Health Services, Srinagar without which no tender shall be entertained.

The tenders should be superscribed as "Tender for group, "B" due on 22.6.2002 and submitted on the prescribed form which can be obtained from the office of the Member Secretary upto 21.6.2002 against cash payment of Money order only for Rs. 600/- in the name of Accounts Officer, Directorate of Health Service, Srinagar for which GR will be issued, which is non-refundable. In case of tenderers, who want to get the tender documents through post, they should send Rs. 100/- extra as postal charges etc.

NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the original manufacturers, Authorised dealers/stockist and local SSI unit holders who are interested to Register their firm with the Purchase committee, Rate contract committee Health, Directorate of Health Services, Jammu to offer their tenders for the following groups of supplies required in the Health Department in Jammu Division :-

1. Allopathic Drugs & I V Fluids.
2. Dressing and suturing materials.
3. General Hospital Appliances.
4. Hospital/Steel Furnitures.

The applications should reach to the Member Secretary, (DDHQ) Purchase Committee, Rate contract Committee Health, Directorate of Health services, Jammu with a fee of Rs 5,000.00 (Rupees Five thousand only) Non-Refundable in respect of original Manufacturer payable through crossed Bank Draft in favour of Member Secretary, Purchase Committee, Rate contract committee Health, Directorate of Health Services, Jammu. They will furnish proof of Registeration to all Rate contract committees of Health & Medical Education Department Jammu & Kashmir while offering tenders.

The firm already registered with erstwhile Provincial Rate Contract Committee/State Level Rate contract committee and Divisional Rate Contract Committees, Jammu/Kashmir and paid a lump sum amount of Rs 10,000/- in respect of Traders, Rs 5,000/- in respect of Original manufacturers and Rs 2,500/- in respect of local small scale Industrial unit holders needs not to apply for fresh registration. The registeration will be made

The state SSI unit holders while registering their units with the committee shall have to furnish:-

(a) The permanent registeration from the concerned General Manager Industries Department, also that the unit is in active production and latest renewed Drug Manufacturing Licence from State controller, Drugs and Food Organisation.

(b) They shall be charged fee @50% i.e Rs 2,500.00 only as registeration fee by the RateContract Committees. Annual turnover of Rs 5.00 crores shall not be a pre-requisite for them.

The Traders representing one or two firms (Original manuf) duly authorised shall be charged registration fee @ Rs 2,500/- per firm. The Tenderers who represents more than two principals shall be charged Rs 10,000/- only as Registeration fee Non-Refundable. The traders can Tender on behalf of their principals provided that the firms they are representing have WHO/GMP or ISO certification and their Annual Turnover shall not be less than Rs 5.00 crores.

The firms quoting for the following groups shall be exempted from furnishing ISO certificate or WHO/GMP certificate.

But where ever applicable ISI certification ISI mark be obtained. The condition of Annual Turnover of Rs 5.00 crores shall not apply for common hospital items like :-

1. Dressing and suturing material.
2. General Hospital Appliances.
3. Hospital/Steel Furniture.

The Chairman of Purchase Committee, Rate contract committee Health, Directorate of Health Services, Jammu has the discretion to fix Rate contract for other groups which have not been included in this notification which are required by various organisation of the department.
