The Administrative Department of Agriculture Production intends to install a Computer Friendly Management Information System (MIS) for efficient management of data and monitoring of various activities of the Department. To achieve the above objective the Administrative Department invites offers from reputed consultants who have had sufficient experience in this field. The broad scope of work to be undertaken is as under :

A) Development of MIS :

(1) To undertake proper systems analysis of the working of various departments at different levels.

(2) To formulate statistical data requirements at various levels.

(3) To devise computer friendly formats for transmission of data from base level to apex level.

B) Software Development :

To develop appropriate software for running the above MIS.

The offer should be given separately for development of MIS and Development of Software indicating the rebate, if any for undertaking both the assignments together. The offer should be accompanied by the following documents:-

Tenders affixed with Revenue Stamp worth Rs 2/- are invited for supply of ''Drawing Stationery'' for the Year 2001-2002 (as per Annexure -''A''). Tender document can be obtained from the office of the Vice Chairman, JDA Rail Head Complex, Jammu at a cost of Rs 100/- on any working day between 10.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. The sealed envelop shall be super-scribed with the words ''Tender for Drawing Stationery JDA'' which should reach this office on or before 25.2.2002 upto 4.00 P.M. by Registered Post/Speed Post. The same shall be opened on the next working day at 11.00 A.M. in presence of the tenderers who may like to be present. The terms and conditions for tendering are as under :-

i/ The rates quoted shall be FOR JDA Head Office.

ii/ The rates shall be quoted for each brand/quality & unit separately giving detailed specifications of each item as also the number to be supplied in each Packet/box/Roll where the rates are quoted per packet/box/roll. Similarly where the supply has to be made in bottle/tube, the quantity in each bottle/tube may be mentioned invariably.

iii/ Samples in respect of all the items should be sent alongwith the tender. These samples in respect of the successful tenderer shall be kept in the office and payment shall be made to the Firm as per approved rates and that of the un-successful tenderers the samples shall be returned back immediately after the contract is finalized.

iv/ The Vice Chairman, JDA reserves the right to accept/reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof and any further reference.

v/ The rates quoted should be written legibly both in words as well as in figures without any cutting/overwritting.

vi/ The rates shall remain valid upto one year from the date of issue of rate contract. The successful tenderers shall have to make supply of material against supply orders issued by JDA from time to time.

vii/ Earnest money of the successful tenderer shall be treated as Security Deposit to be released after the expiry of contract period subject to good performance.

viii/ The payment shall be made after receipt/verification of the supply in full.

ix/ Tender shall be accompanied by CDR for Rs 10,000/- towards earnest money pledged to the Financial Advisor & CAO : JDA Tender without earnest money shall be outrightly rejected.
