The person should be able to support and advise the company management over financial matters and ensure compliance of procedure and policies, besides maintenance of books of accounts & submission of MIS. An all round experience in general accounts from accounts receivable, accounts payable, to finalisation of accounts, is essential. The following positions are available : Cost Control Accountant An innovative individual who believes in optimizing the benefits of costs rather than cost reduction. Candidates who manage similar functions in another financial institution will be given preference. The approach to building shareholders value also includes identifying revenue generating opportunities, cost-benefit analysis, improvement of efficiency ratios and the improvement of other methods to maximize the benefits of costs incurred. Financial Analyst & Senior Financial Analyst At least five years experience in a financial institution or congolmerate as a financial analyst with a business rather than a technical focus is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer modeling and forecasting skills that provide business enhancing financial analysis to assist management in growing their businesses and controlling costs. Treasury Accountant An experienced individual responsible for the financial and management accounting of a complex treasury product function. Activities will include participation in the product development of treasury products, the management and the application of financial accounting and management reporting on new products. Experience and knowledge of foreign exchange, money market, derivatives, liability management and funds transfer pricing is required to provide a strong view of the benefits of IAS 39 reporting and its financial impact. Investment Accountant A seasoned individual required to introduce the best practices in accounting and financial controls for this business sector. A depth of experience in mutual fund accounting, NAVs, automation of fund accounting and operations re-engineering in a computerised environment is highly desired.
