In continuation to Notification No. 111 CAEE of 2001 dated 31-08-2001, it is fjurther notified for information of all concerned candidates that Competent Authority will conduct Entrance Examination at Srinagar and Jammu for admission to various MD/MS/PG Dip course in State Govt Medical Colleges and SKIMS Srinagar, for the session 2001 as per the following schedule : Day & Date : 25th November (Sunday) Pager : 1. Pre-Clinical Para-Clinical and Community Medicine Time & Duration : 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (2 hours) Day & Date -do- Pager : Clinical Time & Duration : 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (2 hours)

Setting up of Eco-Clubs (National Green Corps) in the State of Jammu & Kashmir

A programme of volunteers to be called National Green Corps is being launched involved the establishment of Eco-clubs in about 100 schools in each district of Jammu & Kashmir State.

This programme shall address various subjects for protecting and improving the environment e.g. solid waste management, pullution control, afforestation, maintenance of parks and open spaces, dissemination of information and creation of awareness.

This scheme will include educational institutes from class 5th to class 12th. All Kendriya Vidyalayas. Novadaya Vidyalayas, schools affiliated to CBSE and all State Government Schools and schools recognized by the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Heads of schools who are interested in joining the scheme may approach the respective District Office of Pollution Control Board or Regional Office of Pollution Control Board at Srinagar and Jammu.

In each district there will be approximately 100 schools indentified for the programme. In each identified school. Eco-Clubs will be established. Each Eco-Club will be established. Each Eco clubs will have atleast 50 members.

One of the teachers of the selected schools, who shows keen interest in the environment matters will be identified to act as 'teacher in incharge' of the Eco-Club Orientation Progamme for such 'teacher-in-charge' will be organised at the State Level and then at the district level. Resource material is under Preparation at Centre for Environment and Forests, Government of India is very shortly supplying the material to various Eco-clubs through State Pollution Control Board.

Each Eco-Club will prepare a work plan for its activities for which annual financial assistance of Rs. 1000/- per school will be given.

TDM Udhampur invites offers for and on behalf of BSNL for hiring of accommodation on rental basis for DE/SDOT office Doda within Town Area limits of Doda or in the vicinity of Doda Town.

1. The accommodation required is of 3000 square feet carpet area, with open space area of 800 Sq feet for keeping stores and vehicle parking. The building should be on roadside having basic amenities like bathroom/toilet, electricity connection and water connection etc.

2. The tenderer whose building is selected will have to execute lease dead with the department duly registered in the court of law for a period of six years.

3. The acceptance of rent demanded will be subject to the approval of the fair rent assessment committee of the department.

4. The offer should be placed in two separate envelopes one envelope should contain Building specification i.e land cost certificate from Tehsildar, Complete site plan, proof of year of construction of building and other should contain commercial/rate quoted information. Both the envelops should be placed in one envelop and should be addressed to Shri K L Kachroo, SDE (HRD)% TDM Udhampur so as to reach this office by 01-11-2001 upto 1300 hrs and envelop containing building specification will be opened on the same day at 1500 hrs. Envelope containing commercial details will be opened in respect of suitable buildings only.
