SuriSrinagar, Oct. 2 : In what could be described as a worst ever terrorist attack in recent times in Jammu and Kashmir, nearly 250 persons were rescued from the jaws of death. The Director General of Police, Mr. A. K. Suri told the media persons at legislature complex this morning that the police and security forces succeeded in rescuing unharmed at least 15 legislators and more than 200 other persons in about four hour long rescue operation that was launched after the terrorists managed to enter the complex and occupied the vantage position of the building......more
