FOR:- (B) The firm should have successfully completed at least three works of similar nature with equipment modules of 1x33.75 KVA & with the aggregate capacity of works not less than 270 KVA during the last three years in Central Govt./State Govt./PSU reckoned from the date of NIT.

Setting up of Eco-Clubs (National Green Corps) in the State of Jammu & Kashmir

A programme of volunteers to be called National Green Corps is being launched involved the establishment of Eco-clubs in about 100 schools in each district of Jammu & Kashmir State.

This programme shall address various subjects for protecting and improving the environment e.g. solid waste management, pullution control, afforestation, maintenance of parks and open spaces, dissemination of information and creation of awareness.

This scheme will include educational institutes from class 5th to class 12th. All Kendriya Vidyalayas. Novadaya Vidyalayas, schools affiliated to CBSE and all State Government Schools and schools recognized by the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Heads of schools who are interested in joining the scheme may approach the respective District Office of Pollution Control Board or Regional Office of Pollution Control Board at Srinagar and Jammu.

In each district there will be approximately 100 schools indentified for the programme. In each identified school. Eco-Clubs will be established. Each Eco-Club will be established. Each Eco clubs will have atleast 50 members.

One of the teachers of the selected schools, who shows keen interest in the environment matters will be identified to act as 'teacher in incharge' of the Eco-Club Orientation Progamme for such 'teacher-in-charge' will be organised at the State Level and then at the district level. Resource material is under Preparation at Centre for Environment and Forests, Government of India is very shortly supplying the material to various Eco-clubs through State Pollution Control Board.

Each Eco-Club will prepare a work plan for its activities for which annual financial assistance of Rs. 1000/- per school will be given.

Whereas M/S Premier Educational Scientific Industries Jammu has sought further clarifications with regard to specifications of some of the items in Physics and has requested for extension of date for the receipt of tenders atleast by 15 days.
