‘Terrorism everywhere should be destroyed’
Campaign against terror not to target any religion: PM

Prime Minister Atal Behari VajpayeeNEW DELHI, Nov 20: Asserting that the campaign against terrorism was not to target any religion, Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today sought necessary political will of the international community to deny funding and safe haven to terrorists everywhere. In a suo motu statement in both Houses of Parliament on his recent visit to Russia, the US and Britain, Vajpayee said the universal revulsion against terrorism after the September 11 strikes in the US "should be exploited to single-mindedly destroy all terrorism everywhere". "There can be no political, economic or ideological justification for terrorism. The campaign against terrorism is, of course, not to target any religion," Vajpayee said............more
