Jammu gets some reprieve from power cuts

JAMMU, May 4: The State Government has decided to give two and half hours relief in the power curtailment in Jammu province in view of extreme hot weather conditions from May 5. Minister for Power, Mr Surjit Singh Slathia addressing a press conference here today said that daily curtailment of electricity has been reduced from 9 hours and 45 minutes to 5 and half hours per day. There will be rotational curtailment of two hours in the morning hours, two hours in the afternoon and one and half hours in the evening................more
