Oppn stages walkout to embarrass Government
*Lack of quorum in Assembly

JAMMU, Mar 29: In order to create an embarrassing situation for the Government for not taking the House seriously, entire opposition staged a walkout in the Assembly today soon after the grants for the Health and Sports Ministry were taken up for discussion. When BJP MLA from Ramban, Bali Bhagat finished his speech on the subject, Panthers Party member from Ram Nagar, Harsh Dev Singh stood up from his seat to lodge protest that House is not being taken seriously by the Treasury benches.......................more

3 killed, 6 injured in Tata Sumo-bus collide

JAMMU, Mar 29: Three persons were killed and six others were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and Tata Sumo mear Akhnoor while a driver was killed when a truck belonging to SICOP rolled down into a nullah at Ramban. According to police reports, three persons including driver of a Tata Sumo were killed and six others received severe injuries when their vehicle collided with a speeding bus coming from opposite direction at village Dumi near Gurha Pattan, a km short of Akhnoor bridge this morning................more
