Shah accuses Hurriyat

Mar 17: Former Chief
Minister and president of the Jammu and
Kashmir Awami National Conference, Mr G M
Shah today accused some vested interests
who, according to him, arbitrarily
claiming to be the representatives of
Kashmir freedom struggle, of sabotaging
his proposed peace conference. Addressing
a press conference, Mr Shah said,
"the unstinted support and response
which we got from all regions and all
sections throughout J&K for our
proposed conference has created a sense
of insecurity among some vested interests
who have been claiming to be real
representatives of the Kashmiris".
He further added that these vested
interests have sabotaged the proposed

Medical Institute, rumours went round
that Geelani had died due to Police
