Reorganisation of J&K

Sir,

Refer to the letter by Adil DE 27-2-2001 wherein RSS has been described as the champion of trifurcation; and trifurcation, a threat to the secular fabric of the State. But I want to make it clear that it is not the RSS but the common man of Jammu and Ladakh region who is disheartened and bettered by the Kashmiri domination. The sufferings of the people of these two regions have reached to its extreme and they are left in a State of dismay wherein they have no other option left than to dislodge the Kashmiri hegemony.

As far as the plural character of the State is concerned Jammu and Ladakh region are a perfect picture of secularism where people of all religion, caste and creed live in harmony, but in Kashmir it is clearly a pan Islamic movement. The pluralism in Kashmir has been wiped out with the ethnic cleansing of KPs Hindus and Christians. The only non-Muslims (Sikhs) left in Kashmir are the recent targets of militants.

Hence there is no secularism in Kashmir and before this hazardous disease of bloodshed and genocide plagues other two regions, the trifurcation is the only solution. Seminars and debates against trifurcation are a spent card and people of Jammu and Ladakh have become aware of their fundamental rights, which have been denied to them by Kashmiri elite and their Deliberatners for the last 50 years and hoodwinked the poor Jammuites and Ladakhis by framing committees and commissions, the reports of which have never been implemented. So the pseudo-secularism of Kashmiri rulers stand exposed and people are fed up with their double standards and political gimmicks and to get rid of fundamentalist forces reorganisation of J&K is the immediate need of the hour.

Clarification

Sir,

In reference to the Press release issued by Mr. Ved Mahajan, General Secretary, PDP in your Daily Excelsior on 02-03-2001, it is pointed out that I was out of Station from Jammu due to some marriages of my relations. So I could not refute the allegations levelled by the General Secretary against me. I honestly, sincerely react as under:-

I had worked day and night, honestly, sincerely and whole heartedly for PDP for Organising the women for their upliftment and welfare and to make them aware their rights. In view of this, I was appointed as General Secretary, PDP, Mahila Wing.

Neither I had taken any membership Book nor I was given one by anyone so the question of collecting depositing money and issuing cards to members of Rs. 70,000 as fee does not arise to all. This is merely a fraud to blame my integrity, dignity and honour. On the other hand, Mr. Mahajan first of all should clear himself from the fraud of about Rs. 3.00 lakhs of Congress Party when he was Treasurer there. He has not cleared that amount of money uptil now. He has not right to blame others when he had himself taken the said amount from the above said party.

As regards Smt. Shanti Devi, President Mahila Wing, PDP had changed many parties from time to time and has no stand in the people.

That in respect of resignation of two hundred workers it is a fact that more than two hundred workers can be produced before the press any time so the question of fakeness does not arise at all.

The things which had been given/narrated in the press release dated 27-02-2001 is cent percent correct. Besides, the President of the PDP has not given any encouragement to the sincere and Industrious workers in his party.

Moreover, I had resigned myself and no one expelled or turned me out from the party because I did not like the activity of the Party President and his puppetes.

Yours etc...
Noor Jehan Choudhary
Ex-General Secretary,
Mahila Wing, PDP.
