Militants, not
Military
Sir,
Recently in your
esteemed News Paper an Article of Mr. Aman-Ullah
Khan, Self styled Chief of the Jammu and Kashmir
Liberation Front was published in which while
giving his ideas of the Indo-Pak Summit viz-a-viz
the Kashmir Problem he had given his views.
During the course
of the article, he wrote about the atrocities of
Indian Armed forces on poor helpless Kashmiri
Women who have been raped by the Indian Forces in
thousands.
This is a very
irresponsible statement coming from a person who
himself is a party responsible for creating the
Armed conflict. His organisation is responsible
for the killing of Indian Air Force officers,
kidnapping of Rubia Mufti and committed many
other crimes.Today he and his lieutenants in
J&K like Mr. Yasin Malik have become
Gandhians and believe in non-violence.
Rape is a very
heinous word to be used and it is the worst crime
against the womenhood of any country, race,
population but unfortunately the poor hapless
women in any society and in any country became
the victims.
But blaming the
Indian Forces for such a crime is a blatant lie
which needs to be refuted from every forum. Not
that I absolve the Indian Army personnel about
crimes including rape which they may have
committed under the stress of the situation. But
by and large the Indian Armed Forces are well
disciplined and lead from the front under well
qualified Officers.
And whenever such
an incident has taken place after proper
investigation the person responsible has been
punished as per the law of the land.
If the rape has
been committed wholesale in J&K, 95 percent
of the blame rests with so called Mujahideens and
Jihadees sent to the J&K to protect Islam.
The quality of Jihadees sent are well known, the
criminals from jails, the runaway Afghans, the
misled Sudanees and Labanees also including the
illiterate poor people of Pakistan from Punjab
and Pakistan occupied Kashmir who have been
trained, brainwashed and sent across the border.
We all know very
well that these militants enter from the
difficult terrains of J&K, remain in the
higher reaches and jungles and come down to the
remote village of the J&K for food and
shelter and for their other carnal needs for
which the women of the far flung area have
suffered most. The villages of Haribudha and many
more far flung villages are the mute spectators
of the carnage committed by these elements.
Let Mr. Aman-Ullah
Khan request some neutral people who could travel
to all such places to find out that who are the
people responsible for such a carnage against the
womenhood and what to say of women, young-boys
lured across Line of Actual Control (LoC) by
these militants have not been spared.
At least Jammu
News papers should be very careful in publishing
such distorted version because they may create
wrong impressions.
Yours etc..
