TENDER NOTICE

Tender notice on behalf of Governor of J&K State, duly sealed tenders affixed with Revenue stamp Rs 2/- (Rupees two only) are invited from Registered Dealers of J&K, State for the supply of fire wood to Forest Department, Leh for the financial year, 2001-02, as per the terms and conditions given as under :-

1. The registered firewood dealer shall quote the rate of firewood comprising of Bhagati/Kikar wood etc and to be procured from out side the Ladakh region.

2. The rates quoted by the dealers for supply of firewood shall remain valid upto ending March, 2002.

3. The interesting firewood dealers shall quote firm price/rates and in no case price escalation shall be considered/allowed during curency of the contact excepting in very exceptional cases of statutory increases in the fright rates announced by state transport authority.

4. Last date for submission of tender 25th July, 2001 upto 3 PM. The tender will be opened on the same date at 3.30 P.M.

5. The tender shall be accompanied with call deposit receipt worth Rs 20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand only) as earnest money issued by the Nationalized bank pledged in favour of Division al Forest Officer Leh and the tender (s) without CDR/FDR/TDR will be straight way rejected even though the rate (s) offered in such ten der (s) are the lowest.

6. The sealed tender should be handed over personally in this office and a receipt obtained or sent through registered posts/courier/speed posts any other mode of delivery ensuiring the Tender (s) along with earnest money are delivered complete in all respects upto last date and time fixed for submission of tender documents.

7. The rate (s) quoted by the tender(s) shall be F.O.R Leh, in Forest Firewood Depot, Leh.

8. Delivery period to commence within 15 days from the date of issuance of rate contract to be completed within the period of two months thereafter.

9. The person signing the tender must indicate his/her full name and designation and attached authority letter.

10. Tenders should also enclose a certificate to the effect that they are registered with the appropriate authority to deal with procurement, supply and distribution of firewood as well as the latest income tax clearance certificate.
