Army begins probe
Brig, pilot among five killed in copter crash near Sanji Chat

JAMMU, Jan 30: Five Armymen including a serving Brigadier were killed when an Army Aviation Chetak helicopter crashed near Sanji Chat in the ranges of the Trikuta hills at holy shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi this afternoon. All the five passengers including Brig Raman Sehgal, Maj S Lohchub, captain of the air craft, Captain R Garg, Co-Pilot, two jawans namely Pawan Carpenter and Sunil Kumar Shastri died in the mishap which occurred at about 1319 hours due to some mechanical snag.......more
