SHORT
TERM TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited
on behalf of the Governor, J&K State
from reputed firms for supply and
installation of 150 lines exchange in
MLAs Hostels, Jammu by replacement of
present 100 lines exchange.
1. The tenders properly
sealed in an envelop should be addressed
to the undersigned.
2. The tenders should reach
in the office of the Secretary
Legislative Assembly by or before 28th
Feb. 2001 at 4.00 P.M. and the same will
be opened on the next day at 4.00 P.M.
3. The rates offered should
be written both in words and figurers
without cuttings.
4. The tenders should be
hand written or typed without errasures
or over writtings.
5. Conditional tenders shall
not be entertained.
6. The successful tenderers
will have to install the exchange within
15 days from the date of placing orders.
7. The Secretary, J&K
Legislative Assembly reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all tenders
without assigning any reason.

take the computerisation of above jobs

day to study the system/procedure of
working, sealed quotation may be
submitted latest by 28th Feb. by 12,
O'Clock alongwith Security deposit of Rs
10,000 by DD of any Nationalised Bank
drawn in favour of Canteen Stores
Department, Public Fund Account
(Imprest), payable at Jammu. The Tenders
will be opened on the same day.
The firms will have to make
its own arrangement for stationery item
and Gen Set etc for keeping the equipment
operative during electricity shut
down/curtailments. The undersigned
reserves the right to accept or reject
any or all tenders without assigning any
reason.

The interview for the post
of Assistant Surgeon advertised vide this
Notification No. 10-PSC of 1999 Dated
24-11-1999 and 13-PSC of 2000 dated
26.4.2000 will be held in the Public
Service Commission office Darbargarh Old
Secretariat Jammu from 12th to 17th
March, 19th to 20th March, 22nd to 24th
March and 27th to 31 March 2001 at 10
a.m. The eligible candidate are advised
to attend the interview at the venue
indicated above. The dates are being
communicated to the individual candidates
through call letters for the interview.
However, the candidates who fail to
receive call letters should contact the
Commission Office at Srinagar and Jammu
for confirming the date of interview.
Candidates are requested to furnish
original certificates/testimonials for
verification an hour before Commencement
of interview. All the candidates are held
provisional eligible.
For any deficiency noticed
at the time of interview, the candidature
of the candidate shall be cancelled and
he shall not be inteviewed. For the
deficiency in related to the categories,
the candidate shall be treated as open
category candidate.

2. All interested parties
are requested to attend this auction at
the specified place date and time. All
bidders are requested to deposited a sum
of Rs. 5,000.00 (Rupees Five Thousands)
on account of security money and register
their names with Board of Officers
detailed for the purposes before
commencement of the auctioned. The
security money will be refunded to the
unsuccessful bidders after the auction is
over. Stores will be auctioned to the
highest bidders on full cash payment on
the spot after the adjusting the security
money. The successful bidders will have
to remove the stores within 24 hours
after the auction at his own expenses and
risk.
3. All rights to decide the
final bid are reserved with the
undersigned of Board of Officers. Any
changes in the date and time due to
un-avoidable circumstances will be
communicated. In case of failure on the
part of successful bidders to deposit
full payment and remove the condemned
stores within the specified time the
entire amount of security shall be
forfeited.
5. Local tax will extra as
applicable.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Use of a Public Street by
placing articles for sale or otherwise
and raising any sort of construction on
the public street is an Offence
punishable under the provisions of the
Municipal Act. Encroachment of the Public
Streets are traffic hazards, nuisance,
hindrance and inconvenience to the public
in general.
Public by this notice is
directed not to place any article for
sale or otherwise on the public street or
raise any sort of construction over the
public street.
No person will be allowed to
use the public Street by placing article
for Sale or otherwise and further
directions is given that all the
immovable encroachment made on the Street
be removed within period of 7 days.
In case any encroachment
movable or immovable is found it shall be
removed at the risk and cost of the
encroacher.
