For and on behalf of the
Governor of the J&K State, sealed
tenders affixed with Rs 2/- (Rupees Two
only) revenue stamps are invited from
Solar Photovoltaic manufacturers for the
supply of 2000 Solar Lanterns conforming
to the Ministry of Non-Conventional
Energy Sources (MNES), Govt of India
specifications of 2000-01, Detailed NIT
can be had from the office of the
undersigned on request against a bank
draft of Rs 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred
only) payable to the undersigned.
(a) SPECIFICATIONS
The specifications of the
Solar Lanterns should conform to MNES
specifications of 2000-01 in respect of
Solar Lanterns and the type of Solar
Lantern will be model II-B corresponding
to CFL 7W, maintenance free lead acid
type battery of rating 12 V, 7AH with a
PV module rating of 12 to 14 Wp.
(b) SALE OF TENDERS
The detailed tender document
can be had from JAKEDA offices, 12-B.C.
Road, Rehari, Jammu-180001 (J&K) from
31st Jan, 2001 upto 12th Feb, 2001 (2 PM)
on request against a bank draft of Rs
500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) payable
to Chief Executive Officer, JAKEDA.
Tenderers who wish to receive the tender
document by post should, in addition to
bank draft, append a stamped
self-addressed speed post envelope (size
9'' x 14''). However, JAKEDA will not be
responsible for any postal delay.
(c) EMD (EARNEST MONEY
DEPOSIT)
An earnest money deposit
equivalent to 2% of the total value of
the contract (tenderers have to quote for
a minimum of 1000 Solar Lanterns) pledged
to the Chief Executive Officer, JAKEDA
has to be submitted alongwith the tender.
Previous deposits, if any, shall not be
treated as deposits for this tender.
(d) LAST DATE
The last date for receipt of
complete tender is 20th Feb. 2001 upto 2
PM, in the office of Chief Executive
Officer, JAKEDA, 12-B.C. Road, Rehari,
Jammu (J&K)

DATE
The tender will be opened at
JAKEDA Office, 12-B.C. Road, Rehari Jammu
(J&K) on 22nd Feb. 2001 at 2 PM or
any other convenient date in presence of
the tenderers or their authorised
representatives who wish to be present.

working day between 10 AM and 5 PM upto
23rd Feb., 2001 on payment of Rs. 500/-
through Demand Draft payable to Chief
Executive officer, JAKEDA on any
scheduled Bank at Jammu. Tenderers, who
wish to receive the tender documents by
post should in addition to Bank Draft
send a duly stamped self addressed speed
post envelope (9"X14").
However, JAKEDA will not be responsible
for any postal delay.
