JAMMU, Dec 24: Tension flared up in Samba and Poonch sectors today where Pakistan army directly targeted the civilian installations in addition to Defence locations killing an army soldier and a woman and wounding five others including four jawans. Retaliatory firing in Poonch led to the killing of four Pakistan army soldiers and totally loss of three enemy bunkers and a post............more

SRINAGAR, Dec 24: Shahbaz Khan of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, has been operating with dozens of code names and radio codes in Kashmir’s Jehadi camp. Even that may not be his real name. But the fact remains that he has overnight become India’s Osama bin Laden after the December 13th attack, allegedly by Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Toiba, on the Parliament in New Delhi. The Sopore resident Afzal, who is reported to have revealed to Delhi Police and intelligence agencies that Shahbaz Khan alias Ghazi Baba was the top planner, is reaching here on Tuesday to start a manhunt for the Pakistani militant. The latest development is that, before Ghazi Baba, Police and security forces will be on the lookout for a Kashmiri woman who, according to their confidential reports, has married the Jaish supremo in Kashmir..........more
