TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders on prescribed form affixed with Rs 5/- revenue stamps are invited on behalf of the Governor of J&K State from interested parties/suppliers of uniform articles for supply of 1575 ceremonial dresses, for the use of JKAP/IRP Battalions.

The tenders shall be received at Armed Police Headquarters J&K Jammu on or before 10-01-2002 upto 1500 hrs. The tenders be addressed to Addl. Director General of Police Armed Jammu. The tenders should be sent either by post or delivered personally against proper receipt.

The tenders will be opened on 11-01-2002 at 1100 hrs at Armed Police Headquarters Jammu in presence of such tenderers as may choose to be present. In case of unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances, the tenders will be opened on next working day.

The intending tenderers shall have to furnish earnest money in the shape of CDR/FDR equivalent to 2% of the total value of the contract or Rs 50,000/- in Lumpsum which ever is less pledged to ADGP Armed J&K, Jammu. The tenders should reach the office of the FA/CAO Food and Supplies Department Civil Sectt. Jammu by or before 12.12.2001 upto 3 PM by registered post/speed post/courier service/delivered in person. The tenders will be opened on 12.13.2001 at 4 PM or any other day/time Convenient to the tenders opening committee in presence of tenderers available on spot if they desire.

Teh tender should on addressed tot he FA/CAD Food and Supplies Department. The tender should be accompanied with CDR/FDR equivalent to 2% (Two persent) of the total value/cost of the Computers including equipment from any scheduled Bank pledged to the FA/CAD Food and Supplies Department Being member Secretary of Departmental purchase committee.

Terms and Conditions.

1. The firm should furnish bank guarantee for satisfactory working of the equipment during the three years warrantly period on computer and one year warranty on the other equipments on site.

2. 100% payment shall be made only after the equipment is surveyed by the survey committee i.e. information and Technology unit in the Civil Sectt and equipment is properly installed, tested and stock is brought on books.

3. The rates should be quoted for destination Civil Sectt. Jammu.

4. Delivery within 10 days after placing supply order.

5. Training will be imparted by the firm to one official with one system free of cost.

6. Rates and inclusive of all the charges including installation.

7. Sales Tax extra as applicable if any.

8. The firm shall be liable for penality in case of any deviation from the stipulations in NIT/Supply order.

9. The firm shall executed an agreement with the Department under rules without which no payment shall be released.

10. During installation at site if any item is found defective or broken, the same shall have to be replaced with a new one by the supplier at his own cost.

11. The payment will be released only on production of bills containing stock verification/installation and commissionering certificate of the equipment in satisfactory condition from the concerned section/office.

12. As soon as the accaptance of the tender is communicated to the firm, the conditions of NIT/agreement shall be binding upon the firm.

13. Departmental purchase committee reserves the right to accept or reject any of the tender, without assigning any reason there of.

14. The tenders shall have to produce a documentary proof of the having authorization dealership of the company along with the tender.

15. After sale service support shall be provided within a satisfactory response time.

16. Conditional tender/tender received by post office after last date and time shall be out rightly rejected.

17. Incomplete, illegible,tenders and tenders without CDR/FDR representing earnest money shall be outrighly rejected.

18. In case the last date for receipt of tenders shall be declared non-working day or any other unavoidable circumstance, the next working day shall be considered as last date for receipt of tender upto 3 PM.

19. Should any dispute arise between the parties, decision of the Commissioner/Secretary to Govt. Food and Supplies Deptt shall be binding and final.

The interview of such candidates as have qualified the Screening Test for the post of Dental Surgeon in Health and Medical Education Department in the light of Rule 40 of J&K PSC (Business and Procedure) Rules, 1980 are being held on 21-12-2001 and 22-12-2001 at Public Service Commission's office Poloview, Srinagar and 26-12-2001 and 27-12-2001 at Public Service Commission's office Darbar Garh, Old Secretariat, Jammu at 10.00 A.M.

The call letters to all such candidates are being issued separately. However the cut off merit for the open category candidates is 67 marks. All the candidates belonging to reserved categories as notified in the notification No. 1-DS dated 31-7-2001 are hereby called for the interview in the light of the case that in their cases the number of candidates is less than three times the no. of posts. All higher qualified candidates shall be called for interview in the light of Rule 40, J&K PSC (Business and Procedure) Rules 1980. Only such certificate/testimonials shall be accepted for the purpose of eligibility as have been obtained by the candidates on or before the last date for receipt of the applications.
