SRINAGAR, Nov 30: North Kashmir township of Bandipore and adjacent localities remained tense today as people registered strong protest against the arrest of nine young girls by Special Operations Group (SOG) and Army. Security forces and SOG had rounded up the girls, in a series of raids, with the allegation that they had been working for militants.............more

US carries out heaviest bombardment in Kandahar
