TENDER NOTICE Sealed tenders affixed
with a two rupee revenue stamp are invited from
the original equipment manufacturers or their
authorised dealers/suppliers for supply of one
No. Heavy duty digital photocopier (printer)
(Black and White) having compatibility with
computer should reach this office by or before
17th Sept. 2001 upto 2.00 PM. The tenders shall
be opened by the purchase Committee of the
Commission on the same day in the presence of the
tenderers or their authorised representatives, in
the office Chamber of the undersigned.
The tenderers will
indicate detailed specifications for the items
they quote and their rates alongwith the
literature. The tenderers shall give a list of
standard accessories with their specifications to
be supplied alongwith the heavy duty digital
photocopier (printer).
The items shall be
delivered by the successful tenderer at the
office premises of the Commission at Polo view
Srinagar. The tenders must be accompanied by an
earnest money of Rs.10.000/- in the shape of
FDR/CDR pledged to the Secretary J&K Public
Service Commission. The tenders not accompained
by the earnest money shall not be accepted.
The earnest money
shall be refunded to the unsuccessful tenders. In
the case of sucessful tenderers it shall be
treated as part of Security till the guarantee
period is over Cheques/Demand drafts shall not be
accepted.
There shall be a
warranty period of not less that one year from
the date of the installation of machine in the
Commission office. In case of any fault requiring
repair/replacement the supplier shall have to
repair/replace the whole system or the part there
of depending on the nature of fault, at his own
cost. The tenderer is also advised to indicate
the location of Service station both at Srinagar
and Jammu. In case the supplier fails to execute
the repair within the time prescribed the
Secretary to this Commission is at liberty to get
the machine repaired at the cost of suppliers. He
is also liable for penalty as imposed by the
Commission.
The successful
tenderer shall have to supply the ordered items
within ten days from the date of placement of
supply order. The supplier shall impart
demonstration and training to our operator for
operating the machine, free of cost.
As soon as the
acceptance of the tender is communicated to the
successful tenderer the contract shall be
complete and binding on him. He shall also
execute an agreement with the department. Failure
of default of the tenderer to supply the material
in accordance with the specifications and or
within the stipulated time or failure to fulfill
any of the items and conditions mentioned herein
or in the agreement to be executed by the party
shall render the tenderer liable to such penalty
as may be provided in the agreement, besides the
forfeature of the security deposit.
The Commission
reserves the right to accept or reject any tender
without assigning any reason thereof.
In case of any
dispute arising in respect of any of the terms
and condition the decision of the Secretary of
J&K Public Service Commission shall be final.

iv) Extra pipes of
3'' length of 24 SWG.

A fresh CDR for Rs
4000/- should be attached with Tender for Item No
: 1 & 2, and Rs 1000/- for Item Nos. 3,4,5
& 6 and pledged to Principal, Regional Engg.
College, Srinagar. No tender will be accepted
without accompanied a CDR. The last date for
receipt of tenders is 8th September 2001. In case
the last date happens to be non working day, the
tenders will be accepted on the next college
working day.
Terms &
conditions :
i. The rates
quoted should be FOR Godown at REC Srinagar.
ii. The supplier
will deliver the material only after it is
accepted by a nominated committee of the college.
iii. Weightment
will be made at any recognised weight bridge of
the city in presence of the College Committee,
iv. The supply is
to be made within 10 days from the receipt of
supply order.
v. The CPC of the
college reserves the right to reject any or all
the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.

Tube-wells for potable water supply by ODEX/DTH
drilling of 250/200mm dia bore size in various
districts of Kashmir valley'', from
Registered/reputed firms/concerns who have
sufficient back ground and equipped with drilling
rig units with suitable ODEX/DTH attachments and
tools.
The tender
document can be had from the office of the
undersigned against the cash payment of Rs 200/-
(Non-refundable) or in the shape of crossed
Indian postal order pledged to the Executive
Engineer, PHE Ground water Division Srinagar upto
29-08-2001. The tender document shall be issued
to those intending tenderer's who shall qualify
to pre-requisite formalities.
The tender
alongwith earnest money of Rs 50,000/- (LS)
should reach to the office of the Chief
Executive, Kmr PHE Department Srinagar on or
before 03-09-2001 upto 2 PM.
