The tender documents for the same shall be issued by the Ex. Engineer, Rural Water Supply Division Baghi Ali Mardan Khan Nowshera Srinagar from 25-07-2001 to 16-08-2001 upto 4.00 P.M. against Rs 2500/- which is to be remitted in the Divisional Chest against proper G.R.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates with not less than 55% marks in M A Degree desirous of working as lecturer on academic arrangement basis in the subject of English for the academic session 2001-2002.

The arrangement will be purely contractual basis against the available clear/deputation/leave Vacancies.

The applications be addressed to Director Colleges, Higher Education Department Civil Secretariat Higher Education Department and deposited in the office of the Principal, GGM Science College, Jammu.

The academic arrangement will last for sixty days on contractual basis but may be extended as per requirements of the colleges in which academic arrangement is required in the interest of students. The candidates whose Services need be hired, will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs. 8000/- per month and their arrangement will not, in any way, be construed as Service on regular basis. The arrangement will cease automatically either on teaching requirement being over on expiry of sixty days spell or on posting of a regular candidates by the Administrative Department.

The persons will less than 55% marks and others who are already in Government Service need not apply. If, however, any application from such non-eligible person, is received in the Department, the same shall not be entertained.

The last date for receipt of applications is 15-8-2001.

TENDER NOTICE

1. Sealed Tenders affixed with Rs 2/- revenue stamp are invited by the Chairman District Purchase Committee, Leh on behalf of Governor of Jammu & Kashmir from the registered producer or their distributors/Agents/Stocks/Authorised dealers to submit the tenders for supply of Furniture Items mentioned in Annexure to this NIT for Department of LAHDC, of Leh District with the specification shown against each items appended with NIT.

2. Estimated value of quantity to be purchased Rs 13,00 lacs.

3. Earnest money Deposit Rs 26,000/- only pledged Security deposit in favour of Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC, Leh.

4. Delivery period : To commence within 10 days from the date of issue of rate contract, supply order to be completed within a period of one month.

5. The detailed tender documents can be purchased on payment of Rs 100/- only through crossed postal order drawn in favour of Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC, Leh or against counter payment upto 16-08-2001 by 1 P.M.

6. If the tenderers are unable to purchase the requisite tender forms, they may send their tenders on their letter head from alongwith prescribed tender fee in the shape of crossed postal order Tender not accompanied with requisite tender fee/earnest money shall be rejected out rightly. The earnest money should be in the shape of call deposit receipt/demand draft drawn on any schedule bank pledged in favour of Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC,Leh.

7. The person signing the tender must indicate his/her full name and designation and authority letter signing.

8. The tenderers should also enclose a certificate to the effect that they are registered with the appropriate authority to deal with the procurement supply and distribution of the tendererd items as well as latest income tax clearance certificate/Sales Tax Clearance Certificate.

9. The rates to be quoted shall be FOR Leh including store of various intending departments located in Leh town.

10. In no case price escalation shall be considered allowed during the currency of the contract.

11. The successful tenderer should deposit 5% of the supply as security deposit after deducting amount of CDR already deposited.

12. Tenderer should send samples alongwith the tenders.

13. No conditional tender shall be entertained.

14. Tenders should be written neat and clean and without cutting & overwriting and should be written both in words and figures.

15. Sealed tenders duly completed alongwith earnest money deposit on the prescribed forms should reach to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC, Leh by or before 3 PM on 16-08-2001 and shall be opened on the same day or any other day convenient to the Chairman in presence of the tenderers if any present.
