3 HUJI, JeM militants shot dead in Poonch

RAJOURI, Apr 10: Three militants of Harkat-ul-Jehad Islami (HUJI) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit were gunned down by army at Tota Gali in Poonch this evening. The encounter occurred after the militants ambushed an army convoy in the same area last night killing two jawans and wounding three others.............more

Police lathicharge on PSU staff leaves many injured

JAMMU, April 10: Atleast fifteen agitating public sector employees received minor injuries when police resorted to mild lathicharge and lobbed some teargas shells to disperse the employees who were marching towards Civil Secretariat. The employees dispersed after police action but regathered at Shalamar Chowk and organised a protest rally there.......more
