US Naresh ChandraNEW DELHI, Sept 11: The United States is considering declaring Pakistan-based militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba a terrorist organisation, India’s Ambassador to the US Naresh Chandra said today. "We are convinced there is sufficient evidence to take action against them (LeT). I believe the case is in process and it is being given final touches", he told Zee TV. Gen Malik for political solution to Kashmir

He said the confidence of the Kashmiris would have to be won to counter their feeling of alienation. Surface Transport Minister Rajnath Singh will sign the agreement at St Petersburg, Russia, where Transport Ministers from Asia and Europe, would be attending a two-day conference from tomorrow, an official press note said today. The sea-land route will be part of the north-south transport corridor which will extend to Europe, besides connecting the three countries.
