Oct 19: Welcoming change in
some militant cadres distancing
themselves from secessionist outfits,
Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah today
hoped that others would follow the suit
and join in heralding peace in the State.
Reacting to a newspaper report, referred
to by Mr Ashok Khajuria in legislative
assembly, regarding dumping of ammunition
by son of a Hurriyat leader, the Chief
Minister said the intelligence agencies
are seized of the matter. Conclusions
should not be drawn on mere media reports
as confused militant
organisations........more
