Saxena rejects Hizb demand for unilateral ceasefire

Jammu and Kashmir Governor G C SaxenaNEW DELHI, Oct 18 : Jammu and Kashmir Governor G C Saxena today rejected the demand of Pakistan-based Hizbul Mujahideen leader Syed Salahuddin that India should unilaterally declare a ceasefire in the State and charged Islamabad with being disinclined to support a peace initiative. The demand of Salahuddin "is a non-starter," Saxena told newspersons while replying to questions here after a 30-minute meeting with Home Minister L K Advani.
