Government of India is willing to hold
talks with all those militant
groups within Jammu and Kashmir who
eschew the path of violence. Giving this
information in the Rajya Sabha on
Wednesday, the Minister of State for Home
Affairs, Mr Vidyasagar Rao, let it be
known that the Vajpayee Government had
already underscored the need for
