NEW DELHI, Nov 26: America’s Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has placed Islamabad in an unenviable position, with the circulation of the report that the hijackers of the Indian Airlines plane last December have entered Pakistan. The Pakistan Government’s denial of the report notwithstanding, the FBI has been found unwilling to withdraw its earlier assessment that the hijackers entered Pakistan after securing the release of three prisoners, including Maulana Masood Azhar, on December 31, 1999..........more
