CM admits back-door appointments by Govt

Chief Minis-ter, Dr Farooq AbdullahJAMMU, March 7: Chief Minis-ter, Dr Farooq Abdullah today admitted in the Assembly that a number of back-door appointments have taken place in many Govern-ment Departments during the past sometime and promised to bring a detailed white paper on the issue during the current budget session. As soon as the Chief Minister admitted back-door entries in Government departments, a number of Opposition members were on their feet and expressed strong resentment over the appointments.
