Advani hopeful of Hizb response to Centre’s call for talks

Union Home Minister L K AdvaniCHENNAI, July 29: Union Home Minister L K Advani today expressed cautious optimism that the leaders of Hizbul Mujahideen will come overground and respond to the Centre’s call for talks with them. He, however, firmly ruled out talks with Pakistan on the issue concerning Kashmir. Talking to reporters at the airport on his arrival here enroute to Pondicherry, he said one has to view the whole issue with an element of caution and see how things shape up on the issue of militancy.
